Archery & Axe Throwing

Experience the weapons of yesteryear with our fantastic archery experience in Sussex. We offer a range of activities including traditional bow archery and axe throwing activities!

With a focus on introducing people to the sport of archery in a enjoyable, entertaining and educational way John Morgan can organise fun 'have a go' archery sessions, structured beginner events, and archery for stag and hen dos, parties and corporate entertainment.

Using the traditional Robin Hood style archery bow, our expert archery instructors will teach you all about the correct stance to take, how to hold the bow, charge an arrow, aim and release to hit the target.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the archery centre the day will begin with a safety briefing and introduction to the equipment. Then, once ready you'll be straight on to the firing range where you can take aim, fire and improve your archery skills

There won't be any battles on the fields of Sussex, but you will be lining up the arrows to hit the bullseye on the round targets.

We can also include axe throwing as part of your event day. Axe throwing is a Scandinavian event which is becoming popular in Britain, both as a competitive sport and as a recreational activity. Axe throwing is surprisingly easy to pick up, with most people able to get the axe into a target within their first five to ten throws.

Our archery and weapons instructors are highly qualified, fully insured and have enhanced CRB checks.

You can choose from a ready made fixed price archery package or have your archery event custom made, we are happy to work with you and your needs to achieve your desired experience.

Archery can be undertaken on its own or you can combine it with clay pigeon shooting and / or target shooting. We can put together a bespoke experience to match your needs and budget.
